Had a months break from writing my blog, i guess i totally forgot about it when I was in Finland for the Christmas holidays :) Finland was super! Got to see all of you lovely friends that I so miss when I am thousands of kilometers away here in central Europe. And the best part ofcourse was to get to spend so much time with my family!
I actually even had time to start missing France and all my friends here, even though the 2 week holiday was way to short it was nice to come back and see all of my friends.
Last week was just correcting and getting the grades of our exams done before the holidays, some went better then others, and some will have to be taken again..such is life, its not like this is really easy here, so hey i'm actually pretty satisfied with myself ;)
I have a feeling this semester is going to be even more fun ^^ This semesters sports are gymnastics and basket ball, so i guess that should be fine. And i have really interesting courses, such as a course in human resource management and PR and a course going more in depth in psychologie (i love it!!!!). I will have to do a lot of studying to make up for the grades of the first semester, but that will be good, cause my french is better now:)
Tomorrow Soiree STAPS American! We are going with a bunch of friends, it's going to be awesome!

Glögi & Lapin Kulta
Its been a tough week but positive as such! Eventhough school is hard, i'm not totally failing my classes here!!! Found out on friday that from one of our sociology test I got the best point in our class..what an ego boost I must say!! hihi quite satisfied and happy, actually over the moon! ^^
Most days of last week have been spent doing test and the other time revising for them. Yesterday after getting the result from my test, celebrated it with Camille from my class at an evening over a couple of beers and watching French reality tv, was a nice and relaxing evening! Today had super awesome trainings with Quintana. Knock on wood i really can't bare her getting sick anymore but now it is going so great with her and i am enjoying it so much..we have progressed quite a bit and couldn't be more happier about it!! :) The evening i spent at the christmas happenings of Rouen with Nataly, we drank some "Vin Chaud" the french correspondant to the Finnish Glögi and enjoyed all the christmas light and decorations around town, made me feel a little more like home, am so happy . Then we continued to remenice the first time we met with Nataly at Boite de Bieres at the happening of the Erasmus, and i took they're only finnish beer on the menu, Lapin Kulta, hihi..today has been almost like being home (well not at all, but the Vin Chaud and Lapin kulta were a nice addition to the evening).
Tomorrow i'm going to try to wake up early and get to the stables to ride Quinny, then during the afternoon we are going to church with Nataly, i'm going to light a candle in memory of my dear grandfather who i so love and miss.
In the evening ofcourse more studying ;)

working hard or hardly working?
working hard indeed. It's the last effort still that needs to be made before christmas and i couldn't be less motivated..i am motivated but just so extremely exghausted!! only 1½ weeks work left and then my brain gets a well deserved holiday for 3 weeks mmm ^^ can't wait!
Today was our last class of JUDO, hallelujah!!! anyone wanna buy a kimono!?! hahahah i'll sell it to the next lucky bastard on first year in STAPS for next year, hihihii. Today's class was however a controle of combat, Laugh Out Loud..it was ridiculous..everyone trying to get something done but hardly being even able to make the other fall ^^ though the guys more succesful then girls, it must be that guys have that adrenaline to combat or something, haha. Anyways last time and extremely glad of that :)
In store for today, laundry, finish off a project and still if time remains study for fridays exams = awesome afternoon and evening ahead, dare i say the best part of my day will be doing laundry..how sad :D

Joulumaa jos jokaiselta löytyy sydämestä
Is so waiting for Christmas! :) has a playlist of christmas songs playing and would so wish that we would have snow, but at least i will enjoy it to the fullest in Finland..i'm so going to make snow angels the minute i get home, hihi.
The weekend was great fun!! It got of to a terrbile start with having to do a motherf*ing anatomy test, which i'll probably have to do again in june..just doesn't stick in my head for freaks sake. Well i'll survive, thank god i don't need to know the exact structure of the bones of the hand to be able to do management of events ;) haha. The afternoon was great!! Drove to Versailles to the Boat Show of Paris to meet Alexandra, ate lunch with her and look at fabulous boats (its just slightely bigger than the Helsinki Boat Show, just a teeny bit, haha). Came home and made my self ready for a lovely evening with friends at Rouen :)
The week started with a tortureous 800m swimming test in our swimming class...blaah...i barely survived it. :P but anyways.. that was the last swimming pratice this year, jeijj:)
Today got our faculty clothes, so great! they look lovely :)

le week end m'attend
Today i had my first presentation in french, thank gosh it was a group presentation, but anyway, me and my french in front of 40 students :P well it went ok! wuhuu, though when it came to question time i was totally lost, jeez the type of questions that the teacher asked and the words that he used, i was a huge question mark! i'm sure i would've been able to answer his questions if i would have understood even half of what he was saying. well at least it was a pass, so that shoudn't cause any problems ^^
SNOW!!! i am so happy. though have to admit its a bit crazy driving with summer tires on snow...all of the main roads are really well salted so no problem there but when it comes to parking lots..wiuuu sliiidiiiiing, i sware i was driving 10 or 20 km/h cause i was searching for a parking spot, then the car in front of me stops i hit the breaks and we just nicely and smoothely glided practically past the other car :D so yeah...gotta be careful.
This week has been quite some week, and so will the coming ones too. monday, wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday all exam days.. tiring. I was yesterday at the library until closing time and then studied until midnight at my appartement. Was so tired today that i fell dosed of for 3 hours during the day, missing my todays library session..totally screws up my sleeping rythm cause now i have energy to study more and its already 23.30 ... oh my how i can't wait for the christmas holidays!! :) a properly heated room! it might be much colder in finland, but at least we have proper heating. I am now sitting by my desk inside a sleeping bag...ridiculous i know, but its the only way i don't freeze, and i sleep with 4 quilts... i hope this isn't like this for several months.
Saturday is going to be a super day (despite my anatomy exam in the morning) if the stewards of finnair would just give in and let Alexandra come for a visit!! jeijj waiting for that, and a party with the guys at Rouen, well deserved weekend after a hard worked week i think :)

exams exams exams
3 weeks til' christmas holiday and i get to come home!!!!!!! wupiiii
can't wait for it!
The last weeks remaining is all about test and exams in both practicals and theoreticals. pff. i'd rather skip it all and just go home ^^ hihi but unfortunantely they have to be done. Really really reeeeeally hopes that my grades are good enough!! :/ if not i don't know what i'm going to do. So in that ase, now i just really have to go and continue to study so that i can pass all of my exams with good grades and be able to continue to the second year (or atleast half of the work is done ;) hahah) still the seond semester to improve!! and it shouldn't be a problem as french is getting easier :)
(I'm actually liking it here, so would like to continue doing my studies and living here rather than finland for the next 3-5 years, hhähä)

jestas mikä sumu!
Yes its foggy as hell. I live in Normandy so its to be expected, especially up at the mountains where my teeny appartement is on (Mont Saint Aignan) so now that the weather is getting colder and the temperature changes a lot there is a lot of humidity. Should soon leave to drive to soccer practice but is hesistant if i'll be able to see anything, haha. Well its not quuuite that bad, but i can't properly see to the parking lot opposite my house...it isn't far.
Today out for drinks wiht Nataly :) i now have strenght! can you believe it, i slept for 10 hrs last night, cause i was able to fall asleep at 10 pm rather than 3 am , soo happy. Well rested, mm nothings better than that! ;)
